JAMMU, Feb 8: A delegation of People Democratic Party (PDP) Migrant Cell today called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Y P Suman and highlighted various problems of migrants before him.
The delegation was led by chairman of the Cell for Kokernag Constituency, Nana Ji Wattal and its president M K Bhat (retd) DySP. It demanded recruitment rally in police be held in migrant camps, speedy work on construction of quarters for migrant employees in Valley, installation of fans in Purkhoo Community Hall, issuing of advertisement for 3000 PM package posts, renovation of quarters, simplification of procedure for bifurcation etc.
The other members of delegation included Sohan Lal Pandita, Pushkar Nath Bhat, Omkar Nath Bhan, Kanya Lal, Maneera Begum, Irshad Ahmed, Ghulam Hassan Deka.
