PDP-BJP playing divisive politics: Saroori

CHATROO, May 12: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) leader and  MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori alleged that  minorities are facing humiliation and unrest under present dispensation PDP-BJP due to its divisive politics.
Saroori said this while addressing the Madrasa’s annual function day at Narwar Sarthal and Pahalgwar Chatroo.  He said the people from Muslim community are  lacking behind in attaining education particularly in this belt.  They are divided into sects and nationalism.  Conspiracies are being hatched against them. He said the people of the community should help each other for gaining strength.
Cong leader said, ” We should also be ready to respond to the conspiracies of our enemies. They want to divide and conquer people. We should start gaining knowledge and progress in different fields of life. We have all types of resources available which are needed to be utilized in right way,” Saroori said.
Terming tribal community as talented, Saroori has said that education is best way out to empower Gujjar community. While meeting with various people at Moharwari, Angara, Bhagra areas of Sarthal, he termed education as an important sector for development of society. He said only education can empower Gujjars and people of this community must come forward and educate their wards.
Later,  Saroori also held public grievance redressal camps at Angara Sarthal and Bonda Chatroo area of Inderwal constituency. The people apprised the MLA of their various  problems related to drinking water, facilities regarding Veterinary Services, the shortage of teaching staff in schools, non-payment of MGNREGA wages, poor water supply  and installation of 63kv transformer. He assured to taker up their issues with the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, Saroori also laid the foundation stone of construction of 100 bedded girl’s hostel at Sarthal at a cost of Rs 2.50 crores under RAMSA. He also inspected the construction of laboratory in Sarthal and Sheeri, Batwari  and lower Angara to Upper Angara roads.
