JAMMU, May 15: Commissioner Secretary PDD Hirdesh Kumar Singh has ordered complete ban on the transfer and posting of all categories of employees of PDD till further orders.
The order has been issued to streamline the manpower in various wings of the Power Development Department (PDD) and also to facilitate and strengthen the various services being provided to the consumers.
“Whenever it is felt necessary to affect the transfer(s) in case of medical emergency, retirement vacancy or some other emergent situation, the same will take effect only after seeking prior approval of the Administrative Department”, the order issued by Commissioner Secretary reads.
Any authority found to have breached the orders will invite disciplinary action under law and any order issued prior to issuance of this order and not implemented so far will be kept in abeyance, the order further reads.
