JAMMU, Dec 18: J&K PDD Need Based Casual Labour Union here today took out a protest rally from the office of Chief Engineer EM&RE Wing to Civil Secretariat.
Many casual workers from all over the Jammu province participated in the rally raising slogans in favour of their demands.
The protesters were demanding release of their pending wages.
They also demanded that their monthly wages should be paid from wage head.
Another demand of these protesters was implementation of SRO-381.
Addressing the protesters Akhil Sharma, Union President stressed upon the authorities to release the pending wages of the PDD casual workers from wage head on monthly basis.
Sham Sharma, Bilal Bashir, Ab Gani, Saleem, Sajid, Daljeet, Gurmail, Ashish Verma, Kabir and Akhil Chowdhary were also present.
