PCC Migrant Cell holds meet

JAMMU, Jan 13: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Migrant Cell held a meeting under the chairmanship of its co-convener Shadi Lal Pandita.
In the meeting, the participants said that the decision of demonetization has been implemented against the will and wish of poor and middle class communities.
While speaking, Pandita said that the KP migrant youth belonging to reserved backward areas and entitled to RBA certificates have been ignored.
He added that the relief being paid to the KP migrants should be enhanced to Rs 25,000 keeping in view the rising prices of the essential commodities.
He also demanded one time compensation of Rs 1 crore per migrant family and permanent rehabilitation of the KP community in Kashmir Valley in a safe and secure place by brining up satellite townships.
Among others present were Raj Kumar Tickoo, Kashi Nath Bhat, Sunil Koul, RK Raina, Raj Kumar Bhat, Mithan Pandita and CL Pandita.
