PCC condemns Pak for continuous ceasefire violations

JAMMU, June 26: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned the repeatedly cease fire violations and unprovoked Pak shelling on Indian positions and civilian areas in the State.
PCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma in a statement here said that that Pakistan has repeatedly violating ceasefire and it was unfortunate that the unwarranted firing has adversely affecting the day today life of civilian population all along the borders, besides causing great loss to property.
Sharma demanded permanent solution to their sufferings in view of continue cease fire violations and hostility of Pakistan towards India, which includes alternative accommodation/plots in safer zone in Nowshera tehsil itself so that during such situation of shelling they may take shelter in alternative accommodation. Construction of bunkers in nearby area of their locality so that they can take immediate shelter in bunkers at the time of shelling. Besides proper assessment of loss and full compensation for the losses suffered by them, he also pleaded for special recruitment in Army and other central paramilitary forces for the border area of Nowshera.
Expressing serious concern over continued violence and series of attacks on security forces in Kashmir valley, PCC chief spokesman accused Centre Government of ignoring the ground realities of the failure of the State Government to deal with the worsening security scenario in the Valley.
Reacting over the increased incidents of attacks and targeting security forces including local police and increased violence in Kashmir valley, the Sharma expressed great concern over security scenario which is deteriorating in every passing day and said that it reflected the total failures of State and Centre Government’s to handle the situation
Chief spokesperson further said that Centre Govt continued to ignore the ground realities especially inapt handling and total failure of State Government to bring the situation under control and Centre has failed to take required course of action in the given security situation. He cautioned that the situation is getting out of control and worsening with the each passing day.
