JAMMU, Sept 18: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has appealed to the Governor administration to ensure the payment of long pending wages of all daily rated workers before ensuing festivals.
Addressing NMC workers meet here today Subash Shastri, NMC President said, some daily wagers have not received their salaries for years together.
He demanded regularization of thousands of daily rated workers engaged in different departments of the State Government.
Shastri further demanded release of seventh pay commission arrears in favour of State pensioners.
He also demanded enhancement of medical allowance to Rs. 1000 in favor of State pensioners.
Those who were present in the meeting included Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Surinder Kumar, Shiv Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Jai Pal Sharma, Pardeep Kumar, Ram Singh, Darshan Bawa, Surinder Kumar, Sardhri Lal, Ram Singh, Sudesh Bhagat and others.
