UDHAMPUR, Feb 19: Ful-filling long pending demand of inhabitants of Lehanu in Udhampur Assembly constituency, MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta today kick started construction work of link road from Tikri- Katra main road to village Lehnu.
The work shall be completed with the cost of Rs 24 lakh.
On the occasion, people also demanded link road Lehnu to Paddar, Lower Lehnu to Upper Lehnu, Katra road to Primary School, Katra Road to Master Tara Chand Moholla and Katra road to Patyari Moholla.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Pawan Gupta disclosed that he has been concentrating for a strong networks of roads as a MLA and also assured the people that very soon their other demands would also be fulfilled. The MLA said that in this regard, he has already submitted purposal to the Government.
On this occasion, Youth leader Rohit Sethi, Sanjay Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Dillep Kumar and Shankar Dass were also present.
