UDHAMPUR, May 4: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta today kick started work of black topping of approach road to District Hospital Udhampur, in presence of Medical Superintendent Dr Narinder Batyal and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA informed that the blacktopping has been taken up with approximate cost of Rs 15 crores. He asked the Engineers to maintain quality of the work and cautioned not to compromise on material to be used.
The MLA further assured the people that pace of development in his constituency shall steadily accelerate further in all fields but the people should keep an eye on the quality work. He said that any shortcoming may be brought into his notice for corrective measures and action against the erring officials.
Pawan Gupta said that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure that public money is spent only for adding facilities to the general people. He also asked the officers to speed up work on pending projects for the last ten years. He reiterated that Udhampur constituency would be developed as model constituency.
Anil Gupta, AEE (R&B), Balwan Singh (Sarpanch, Rohit Sethi and others were present on the occasion.
