Patwar Association announces body for Jammu province

JAMMU, July 15: All J&K Patwar Association today said that election of the Jammu province body of the association was held on July 8, 2017 in which Farooq Malik was elected as president.
This was made known to media persons in a press conference held at Pres Club Jammu which was addressed by State president Raman Raj Sharma. He announced the other office bearers of Jammu province body of the association having been elected during the election including Yash Sharma as vice president, Saleem Mohd as secretary, ArunKumar as joint secretary, Gulam Mohd as publicity secretary, Harejeet Singh as accountant, Shafeeq Choudhary as cashier, Yousaf Ali as auditor and Ramesh Kumar as organizer.
He also announced the suspension of Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai from basic membership of Patwar Association till further orders and sought explanation from Sajad Sadeeque State vice president for misusing his powers and addressing the press conference without taking State president in confidence.
Raman Raj Sharma expressed gratitude to the Revenue Minister Abdul Rehman Veeri for accepting their genuine demands by constituting departmental enquiry cell and also constituting a committee for redressal of other demands like Grade Pay of Patwaries, DPC of Patwaries and Girdawars, stoppage of direct recruitment of Naib Tehsildars, creation of Patwar Halquas, creation of Girdawar circles and other long pending demands.
