Pathania holds Janata Darbar at Majalta

UDHAMPUR, Sept 1: MLA Ramnagar, R. S. Pathania, chaired the Janata Darbar at Tehsil Majalta for redressal of problems being faced by the locals of the respective areas in which representatives of different departments, senior officers and district/block heads of Education Department, Rural Development, Power Development Department (PDD), Public Heath Engineering (PHE), PMGSY, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health and other departments were also present.
MLA Ramnagar gave patient hearing to several issues projected by the people of the area and issued direction for on spot redressal of the problems projected by the people. He apprised the people that State government were initiating several steps to mitigate the suffering of the people residing in far-flung and remote areas.
On the occasion, MLA Ramnagar directed to the PDD and PHE Department to not to resort to unscheduled power cuts and irregular supply of drinking water. He also directed CAPD Department to give full 25 Kg scale of ration to each and every family and ensure that sign boards displaying number of souls, stock position, rate list and electronic weighing machine are installed in every fair price shop of the areas within a period of one week from today.
He also directed PWD and PMGSY Departments to clear all the blocked roads/ landslide affected blocked roads. MLA Ramnagar informed the public that work on direct suspension bridge from Majalta Morh to Majalta, Manwal to Pinger Road, Chail to Choultra Mata roads will start very soon. He also called for early resumption of work on various drinking water supply and creation/augmentation of power station so that people won’t suffer on the account of potable water.
