SRINAGAR, Feb 24: Senior sportsperson and Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra was awarded with honourary Black Belt by Renmei Goju-Ryu-Karate-Do Federation of India, affiliated to Goju Ryu Karate-Do International Federation UK in an impressive function at Srinagar.
The award was presented to Mr Parra by Chief Instructor and Joint Secretary Renmei Goju-Ryu-Karate-Do Federation, under the directions of Shihan Sanjeev Dewan, Chief Instructor of this sport in India.
President of the Federation, Shalendra Gulati, President of the Association in J&K, Dr Rajesh Sharma and Vice President, Gambhir Singh Charak have congratulated Mr Parra for this achievement.
