LEH, Apr 29: A Parliamentary Committee on External Affairs comprising of five Members of Parliament under the chairmanship of Member of Parliament, Dr Shashi Tharoor visited Fire and Fury Corps, Leh on a study tour and was briefed on security situation by a senior Army officer.
The Parliamentary Committee was welcomed by Major General AS Chowdhry and senior officers of the Fire and Fury Corps.
The Parliamentary Committee was briefed about the security situation, dynamics in the region with Pakistan on the western borders including Siachen and China in the eastern borders of Ladakh.
