JAMMU, Feb 19: Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Paloura celebrated 640th Parkash Utsav of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj today in premises of Guru Ravi Dass Temple Mohalla Dhok Paloura. The function was organized by Dr. Raj Paul Hans President Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Paloura.
On the occasion Shamsher Singh Manhas Member Parliament(Rajya Sabha) was the chief guest and Piran Ditta president All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha presided over the function.
Hundreds of devotees thronged the Temple to pay obeisance to Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj. Besides, the dignitaries also paid tributes to Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj.
Speaking on the occasion Shamsher Singh Manhas and Piran Ditta highlighted the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass . They stressed the people to follow the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass Ji to achieve success in life.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Shiv Dev Singh Manhas Ex. MLA, Rajni Bala Ex. Corporator, Banarsi Dass president All J&K Leather Worker Union, Ramesh Uttama and Joginder Pal besides, Sabha members Om Parkash Hans, RK Angral, Sham Lal Angral, RL Hans, Ashok Hans, Kulwant Hans & others were also present.
At the end, langer was also served to the devotees.
