JAMMU, Apr 21: Brilliant batting display by Paras Sharma and Vivrant Sharma guided star-studded Jammu Cricket Club to a big win over Bali Cricket Club to enter into the semifinals of the ongoing 1st Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup, being played at Parade Cricket Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Patel Cricket under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), under the supervision of Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal, President Patel Cricket Club and Vijay Sharma, General Secretary of the Club.
Earlier, batting first, Jammu Cricket Club scored a big total of 202 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Vivrant Sharma scored magnificent 91 runs, while Paras Sharma scored splendid 90 runs. Both the batsmen send the rival bowlers on a leather hunt, hitting the ball with fluidity and grace. From Bali Cricket Club, Rahul and Nitin took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Bali Cricket Club managed to score 173 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs, thus lost the match by 29 runs. Nitin (38), Vishal (37) and Dimple (23) were the main scorers. From JCC, Rajeev and Vishvajeet Singh took 2 wickets each while Paras Sharma claimed 1 wicket.
Paras Sharma was declared as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur- Rehman and Sadiq Hussain Malik.
