Paramilitary forces seek facilities at par with Army

JAMMU, May 3: Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association has demanded one rank one pension  and medical facilities at par with the Army.
In a meeting of the Association held here today at Bahu Plaza, Jammu under the leadership of its president Shashi Kumar Sharma, the members discussed their long pending issues. Besides one rank, one pension, they also demanded medical and CSD facilities at par with the Army, martyr status in case of casualty during duty, revision of pension,  change in recruitment rules enacted during 1972, medical allowance at the rate of Rs 3000  per month, no tax on pension, bring all salary personnel  under CPC after every ten years  like other Govt departments etc.
The retired forces men said that they had approached  Anil Gupta BJP leader  and other State BJP leadership to help them in getting their issues resolved. General secretary, DK Bhagat said that Gupta has assured them to take up the issues with the Central leadership.
Dalip Singh- vice president , Mohinder Singh – secretary, S. Dogra- advisor and others  also attended the meeting.
