JAMMU, July 28: Param FC defeated Musa Club by 4-1 in the opening match during 2nd Vishal Heer Memorial Football Tournament today.
From Param FC side, the Ist and 2nd goals were scored by Shubhum in 5th and 16th minutes while 3rd and 4th goals were pelted by Amanjot Singh in 27th and 39th minutes, respectively. For Musa Club the only goal was scored by Vishal Dogra in 34th minute.
The second match of the day was scheduled to be played between Young Star and Engineer XI but Young Star did not reach the venue at time and thus, Engineer XI won the match by walkover.
Today’s matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rohit Gupta, Vijay Kumar and Jhony.
The tournament is being organized by Rajesh Sumbria in the memory of late Master Vishal Heer (a football player), who died on October 15, 2013.
Tomorrow, the NGR will clash with Jammu Sports and Sainik Colony will lock horns with Shaheen FC.
