While talking to media persons, Satish Bhagat’s father, who also served in Indian Army said that common men are not remembered but army men are always remembered by the people for years for attaining martyrdom while serving the nation.
“I am always proud of him by or after joining Army. I am not crying on his martyrdom, but on his courage and bravery, which he displayed while thwarting infiltration bid of the militants. He will always remain in the memory of the nation”, he added.
He stated that militants are also sons of their mothers, but their wrong thinking forces them to walk on the path of militancy. Good guidance can bring them back on the peace track, he added.
“We call martyrs to those, who sacrifice their lives at borders to protect the nation”, he said, adding that his son fought for the country, not for himself and he is proud of him.
