Pak violates ceasefire thrice

JAMMU, Nov 12:  After a brief lull, Pakistan Rangers again resorted to ceasefire violations at three places along the International Border (IB) in Jammu sector since last evening but there were no casualties or damage.
The BSF didn’t retaliate.
Official sources said the Rangers fired few shots towards BSF’s Simbal Post in Makwal sector of Jammu at 10 pm last night.
The BSF again fired few shots at forward area of Majra in Ramgarh sector of Samba district and Top 1 in Arnia sector.
“There were three ceasefire violations by the Rangers since last night,” sources said, adding that neither the BSF nor any civilians suffered any casualties or damage in firing by Pakistan.
The BSF was maintaining high alert on the border in view of Assembly elections in the State.
