SRINAGAR: Pakistani troops opened another front, targeting forward Indian posts on the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector in the frontier district of Kupwara on Sunday, official sources said.
They said Pak troops resorted to indiscriminate unprovoked firing from across the LoC in Keran sector, targeting forward posts and civilian areas. Indian troops also retaliated, they said. A security force jawan was reportedly injured in the Pak firing, they said, adding that the casualties suffered by Pakistani troops were not immediately clear. (AGENCIES)
