JAMMU, Mar 10: Pakistani troops today again resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) at Mankote, Sagra Gali and Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district, targeting forward defence posts and civilian areas.

Reports said that Pakistani troops opened shelling using 82mm mortars and firing with automatic and semi-automatic weapons in parts of Krishna Ghati, Mankote and Sagra Gali on the LoC in Poonch district at 7.15 am.
The Indian side retaliated effectively to silence the Pakistani guns.
Exchange of shelling and firing continued till 10 am. However, there were no casualties or damages on the Indian side in the exchange of shelling.
