Orange recruits 8 B Tech students of SMVDU

KATRA, Feb 6: Orange Business Services Ltd conducted a campus recruitment drive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra and selected eight B Tech students.
Rohit Sardalia, Mahak Sawhney, Kamaljot Singh, Vedika Sumbli, Ajitesh Kohli, Jaskirat Kaur, Siddhant Sharma, and Dheeraj Sharma, all B Tech. final year students of SMVDU Katra, have been selected as GETs by Orange with annual package of Rs 3.75 lakh. The selection process from February 2 to 5, 2017, consisted of a rigorous exercise involving written test followed by Technical and HR Interviews.
Four member team, consisting of Sandeep Murgai-Head India Centre, Sudep Luthra- Head HR, Atul- Head Cloud Business Vertical and Praful-Head Global Delivery, selected 08 students out of a pool of 30 shortlists from SMVDU.
The Campus Recruitment Panel also met Dr Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU and discussed the areas of possible cooperation between SMVDU and Orange for the benefit of students including R&D. Dr. Sanjeev Jain, congratulated the Orange final selects from B Tech (CSE) and B Tech (ECE) and advised them to give their best to the organization for its growth and harmony thereby earning name for themselves and their alma mater.
