Opposition unity

Sir,
Fostering a national unity with a regional spirit, casteism and sectarian agenda will be catastrophic for the nation. The unity among the opposition parties is welcome. But coming together of opposition parties without a national agenda and to defeat the ruling NDA will defeat the national spirit. The opposition has to display their national priorities. Personal ambitions among the regional leaders and parties have to be sacrificed in the national interest. Come with alternative policies and programmes in the interest of all the countrymen. The Congress as principal opposition has an added responsibility. They should forge alliances with regional parties and devise an overall strategy with a national agenda.
