JAMMU, Jan 4: Munsiff Jammu Aarti Devi has awarded one year imprisonment to two thieves namely Hira Lal, son of Dharam Pal and Sonu Kumar, son of Valayati Ram, both the residents of village Dhiyaran.
After hearing CPO Ashish Rathore with PO Siddarth Thakur for the State, the court observed, “the prosecution has succeeded in proving the guilt of the accused persons beyond reasonable doubt”.
Accordingly, both were convicted under Section 380 RPC and sentence of one year simple imprisonment was imposed on them.
