One more Amarnath yatri dies, toll touches 36

SRINAGAR:One more Amarnath pilgrim died, taking the toll in the ongoing pilgrimage to 36.However, the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) official website, not updated after July 11, said seven pilgrims and a service provider had died due to health reasons and accidents since the commencement of the 59-day-long annual yatra to holy Amarnath cave shrine from July 2.
A Yatra Control Room (YCR) official told that 47-year-old Kalesh Prajapati, resident of Bhopal, fell ill at Sheshnag on traditional Pahalgam track. However, he was immediately rushed to base camp where he was declared brought dead. (AGENCIES)
