JAMMU, June 2: A man was killed while two others were injured today in a road mishap in Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, three persons were travelling on a motorbike when a speeding car hit their two-wheeler in Muthi Camp area. He said in the mishap, all the three persons travelling on the bike sustained serious injuries.
“All the injured were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where one of them namely Jambu Lal (27) son of Parkhit, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Talab Tillo) was declared as brought dead by the doctors”, he said, adding, other two injured persons namely Dillo (40) son of Baldu Ram and Devinder (30) son of Chhaterpati, both residents of Chattisgarh, were responding to the treatment.
The official said that the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered and investigations taken up.
