One killed, three injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Jan 14: A man was killed while three others were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, an unknown man of age about 25 years was killed while his accomplice identified as Ayodhya (25) son of Bukhao Yadav, resident of Chhattisgarh and at present residing in Sidhra area of Jammu, was injured when the speeding bike on which they were travelling, got slipped this evening at Kala Jaad in Jhajjar Kotli area on National Highway.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for identification and post mortem while the injured was also shifted in the same hospital for treatment.
At Greater Kailash, a pedestrian identified as Joginder Kumar (53) son of Babu Ram, resident of Sainik Colony, was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle. A motorcyclist identified as Sumit Singh (30) son of Sagar Singh, resident of Bari Brahmana, suffered injuries when his bike was hit by a car at Kunjwani Chowk.
All the injured were shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
