SAMBA, Feb 23: One pedestrian was killed on spot when he was trying to cross the road near 17 Miles on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway and hit by super fast bus bearing registration number JK02BD-6177 which was on its way from Kathua to Jammu this evening.
Vijaypur Police reached the spot and sent the dead body to Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh for legal formalities. The deceased was identified as Surinder Yadav, 32, son of Ram Raj Yadav of Bilria district Azamgarh U.P.
Vijaypur police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
