KISHTWAR, Feb 14: A man was killed while his accomplice got injured when the load carrier in which they were travelling, rolled down the road on Doda-Kishtwar National Highway.
“The mishap occurred this morning in Kandani area falling within the jurisdiction of police station Kishtwar when the load carrier bearing registration number JK02AU- 3644 was on way to Kishtwar from Doda”, police sources said.
They said that injured man namely Nisar Ahmed son of Chandani was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar whereas after medico-legal formalities, the dead body of Abrar son of Gulam, resident of Cherhar (Kishtwar) was handed over to his family.
A case has been registered in this connection at police station Kishtwar.
