One killed, 2 injured in accidents

KISHTWAR, Dec 4: One person was killed, while two others were injured in road accidents, here today.
As per police sources, a scooty bearing registration number JK17-5106 was hit by a Tata Sumo (JK17-2959) at Phagumarh, resulting into serious injuries to the scooty rider.
The profusely bleeding victim identified as Mohammad Abbas, a guard in the Fisheries Department, son of Ghulam Hassan of Malipet was rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased has been handed over to the legal heirs for last rites.
The Tata Sumo driver namely Ishtiaq Ahmad has been arrested.
Meanwhile, the man driving the Alto car bearing registration number JK17-4923 lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a two wheeler showroom Ashoka Enterprises in Kuleed area, injuries two mechanics and damaging some two wheelers.
The injured persons identified as Sajan Parihar and Akram were rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The Alto car driver has been arrested.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
