UDHAMPUR, July 14: Police here today arrested an alleged narcotic smuggler and recovered 446 gram charas from his possession.
After inputs from a reliable source, cops at Police Station Udhampur including Head Constable, Mohd Bashir; Section Grade Constable, Abdul Qayoom and SPO, Ajeet Kumar led by Inspector Vijay Choudhary, SHO Police Station Udhampur under the supervision of Kulbir Honda, Dy.SP Headquarters Udhampur arrested the alleged smuggler from Circular Road and during his search police recovered 446 grams of Charas.
A case in FIR No. 338/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused Vijay Kumar son of Bodh Raj of Kalta, Balnagar, Udhampur and further investigations in the case were going on.
