SAMBA, Dec 6: Police arrested one person and recovered 340 banned capsules from his possession near Railway Station Vijaypur in district Samba today.
According to the Police on a tip off, a team of Vijaypur Police Station along with District Special Branch (DSB) apprehended one person near Railway Station, Vijaypur. During his frisking police recovered 340 Parvon Spas+ capsules form his possession and the accused was arrested on spot along with contraband items. He has been identified as Narinder Kumar, son of Paras Ram, resident of Gagore Vijaypur.
The operation was conducted on the directives of SSP Samba, Dr Koushal Sharma and direct supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur Baljeet Singh.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
