RAJOURI, May 1: The Police has booked and arrested a local person after he shared a very sensitive post on his Facebook account.
The accused has been identified as Shokat Ali, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Baroota Dyala in Kalakote tehsil. A case FIR Number, 221/2018 U/S 153-A RPC has been registered by police at Police Station Rajouri against him.
The police said Ali shared a very sensitive post on his Facebook account on Monday, which hurt the sentiments of a particular community. Soon after the matter came to the notice of Rajouri police, a team under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas immediately arrested the person and registered the case. Some local Facebook pages as well as WhatsApp groups are also under scanner where messages of hatred are uploaded, the police said.
