KATHUA, Jan 25: On a specific information Police team of Lakhanpur Police Station laid a Naka at Lakhanpur and intercepted a maruti Swift car bearing registration No JK01 P/8707 coming from Punjab side for checking. During Checking 4.80gms of heroin was recovered from the possession of one Daljeet Singh son of Trilok Singh resident of Langate Morh, Kathua
In this regard a case FIR No 12/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against him. The heroine and vehicle were seized and accused was put behind the bars for judicial determination. The further investigation into the case is going on, police said.
