Omar takes jibe at Govt over addressing problems due to snowfall

SRINAGAR: Taking a jibe at the State Government over callous attitude towards the problems of the people in view of heavy snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, said the regime is busy in the stadium, so please wait for them to finish before they start addressing problems.

Mr Abdullah was referring this at the function organised on the first death anniversary of the former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed by ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

“The Government is busy in the stadium so please wait for them to finish before they start addressing people’s problems. Aap kataar main hain (You are in a queue),” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of main opposition National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.  “No surprise at all there. This Government has given ample proof of its completely callous attitude towards the problems of the people,” he added. (AGENCIES)
