Omar demands HC monitored investigation into appointment in KVIB

SRINAGAR: Demanding a High Court (HC) monitored investigation into the appointments in Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB), working president of the main opposition National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah on Sunday evening, said declining job by son of a senior ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader does not wash away the fraud and nepotism.
Mr Omar was reacting to media reports that after Chief Minister ordered inquiry into the appointment of Syed Aroot Madni, son of Sartaj Madani, vice president of PDP, he (Aroot) has declined the job. Taking to micro blogging site twitter the former Chief Minsiter Omar tweeted, “Why should the probe be withdrawn? Madni declining the job doesn’t wash away the fraud & nepotism. This issue must be probed by a High Court monitored investigation”. (AGENCIES)
