Srinagar, Jan 22: Security forces today cordoned off Fatehgarh Sheeri area of district Baramulla after inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Reports said that around 30 people were detained for questioning and majority of them have been let off. However, a police official said that few of them who are Over Ground Workers (OGWs) are being questioned.
In the meantime, police and para-military forces today conducted searches in Lal Chowk area including a multi-storey under-construction building at MA Road. However, no one was detained.
