JAMMU, July 30: Office bearers of Non-Teaching Employees Association, SKUAST-Jammu visited Research Stations of University, which include Advance Centre for Rainfed Agriculture (ACRA) Dhiansar, Pulse Research Sub-Station, Samba & Regional Research Sub-Station Raya.
The visiting team interacted with the Non – Teaching & Teaching staff of these Research Stations. During the interaction, the Non Teaching staff and few of the Teaching staff apprised the office bearers of the Association with regard to their problems. The Association members assured them that their problems would be taken up with the administration of the varsity and shall be got redressed on top priority.  President of the Non Teaching Association, B N Singh, impressed upon the non-teaching staff to work hard for the overall development of the university in research and extension activities.
Zamir- ul- Haq, general secretary, appreciated the contribution of non teaching community of these Research Stations for strengthening the association which is working hard for the development of the Non Teaching fraternity in general and for the university in particular.
The main problems raised by the Non-Teaching employees, include pending CAS arrears, pending CAS/promotion cases, pending Transfer cases, pending conversion of grades, pending wages of the labourer etc.
Prominent among those who visited the Research Stations, were, S K D Singh, Vikas Gandotra, Vijay Singh, Bimal Singh Jamwal, Deeraj Rajwal and   Ghulam Mohd Malik.
