NSUI protests for fast track punishment to accused in GMC molestation case

JAMMU, Jan 4: Demanding fast track punishment to the  doctor of the Government Medical College Jammu who  was allegedly involved in molesting the MBBS girl student, activists of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI)  held a strong protest demonstration near  PCC headquarter, here today .
The protest was led by NSUI State president Neeraj Kundan and Hasiba Amin, national general secretary of NSUI and incharge of J&K.
While addressing the NSUI activists, Hasiba Amin and Neeraj Kundan said it was very unfortunate that the students who burn midnight oil for qualifying such prestigious exams to serve the people, are subjected to molestation by the faculty members of Medical Education Department. “Students are pressurized by the college administration not to disclosure the matter and in case the victim dares to lodge complaint, attempts are made by the administration shield the accused,” they alleged and demanded speeding-up the probe and termination of the accused doctor.

The protest demonstration was joined by Raqeeq Khan, Amjad Bhat, Ajay Kumar, Avijot Singh, Mehran Anjum, Puneet Kaur, Sunny Parihar, Prakash Singh Dadwal and Naresh Digra.
