NSUI continues protest against JU

JAMMU, Apr 23: Continuing their protest against Jammu University’s autocratic and anti-student decisions, activists of  NSUI today held a demonstration at SPMR College of Commerce, here today.
The protest was led by Avjot Singh , NSUI State general secretary. The  NSUI activists and the students assembled near the college gate and held a demonstration  there amidst raising of slogans against the Jammu University.

Addressing the students, Avjot Singh  said that Jammu University was  discriminating with students by its faulty policies. He  added that the Vice Chancellor of Jammu University was  not ready to talk with the students and that’s why  NSUI has started awareness drive and came on roads to mark protest again University.
Sunny Parihar also addressed the protest demonstration and explained that they were raising genuine demands for the welfare of students. The main three demands which NSUI put forward are roll back of new re-evaluation policy i.e, best of two, subject wise JUET entrance test for admission in various PG courses and weightage of JUET should be 40 percent and academic 60 percent, he added.
Others who addressed the protest demonstration, included Rahul Bhagat,  Nishant Gupta and Ranjodh Singh  announced to continue the protests till  University administration solve the problems of students. Other senior leaders who were present in the protest were Ranjodh Singh, CK Sharma and Ankush Deep.
