JAMMU, Jan 17: Up in arms against  the Government move of announcing compensation and  jobs to the stone pelters, the activists of National Panthers Students Union today held a protest demonstration.
Raising slogans, the NPSU activist assembled near the Jammu University main gate and also torched an effigy of the State Government. The protest was led by Thakur Virender Singh,  State president NPSU, who lambasted State Government  for supporting stone pelters and totally ignoring Jammu region.
This is really height of the things that not PDP-BJP Government is glorifying the subversive anti-national and disregarding the supreme sacrifice made by the martyrs who laid down their lives while saving the motherland,” he said and questioned the criminal silence of BJP legislators on this issue.
Others, who addressed the protest demonstration, included Rishi Badya, Cheetan Sharam, Rudra Partab Singh , Shubam Chib, Shubam Jostoria, Sumeet Jamwal, Shubam Jamwal and  Amadeep Singh.
