NEW DELHI, Dec 15:  Outraged by the nasty proxy order imposing restrictions on Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra rituals in Kashmir which had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu community worldwide, a large number of National Panthers Party (NPP) activists spearheaded by party chairman  Harsh Dev Singh and State president Young Panthers  Yash Paul Kundal  staged an aggressive protest demonstration near the Parliament in New Delhi today.
A strong contingent of Delhi Police raised huge barricades near NDMC Chowk on Sansad Marg and restrained the infuriated protesters raising anti-BJP slogans from marching towards the Parliament.
Accusing the BJP of indulging in the politics of appeasement to keep the Separatists of Kashmir in good humour, Harsh Dev lambasted the Saffron brigade for having connived with the latter in establishing the sectarian homogeneity on communal and fascist lines. He said that the BJP Govt had issued a nasty order through the NGT which had imposed restrictions on the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra rituals under the pretext of safeguarding the ecology of the Valley.
He wondered that how all of a sudden such order was issued when the Yatra had been organized with religious fervor since ages with no adverse impact on the environment over there. Singh divulged that the BJP which always claimed to be ‘Messiah’ of Hindus had now changed its colours like a chameleon only to enjoy the  power in the State.
“The change of nomenclature of Hindu shrines and places in Kashmir, interference in the rituals of Shri Amarnath Yatra, detention of the nationalists and premiums for the militants in J&K, etc had corroborated the bitter truth that BJP had not only marginalized Jammu region but was also hell bent to subjugate Hindus in the State for the petty political interests.  The BJP  had  surrendered all the election promises besides its core philosophy before Kashmiri leaders to keep their unholy alliance with its ally PDP intact,” he said.
Harsh Dev revealed that Govt of India had sanctioned 8 new Highways last year to the State with the assurance of 100% funding for all the projects. He said that out of these projects Highway No. 501 was announced  along the holy cave of Amarnath Ji shrine measuring 105 Kms in length linking Baltal-Panchtarni-Chandanwari-Pahalgam-Batakut-Martand-Khanabal in Kashmir. He disclosed in dismay that the incumbent BJP-PDP Govt had out rightly refused the construction of the said road by citing environmental reasons.
