SAMBA, Sept 24: Infuriated by the termination of Vishal Sharma AAG and Parimoksh Seth DAG from the services by the coalition Government, scores of Panthers Party activists led by Harshdev Singh Chairman of the Party and Yashpal Kundal State president Young Panthers staged a massive demonstration here, today.
The angry protesters demanding the revocation of the termination order of the incumbents raised the slogans of ‘Vishal Sharma aur Parimoksh Seth ko…Bahal karo,Bahal karo’, Go-hatya kanoon ko hatane ki saazish…Band karo,Band karo and ‘down, down’ BJP BJP. Later, the protestors amid raising slogans burnt the effigy of the BJP.
Deploring the termination of the advocates by the Government to demonstrate their authority, Harshdev Singh expressed shock over the abrupt removal of the incumbents.
He pointed out that the State Government ordered the termination of the services of both Vishal Sharma and Parimoksh Seth on Tuesday which in reality was a slap on the face of the BJP and has further demoralized the people of Jammu who feel let down and humiliated.
Prominent among those who led the protest included Rajesh Padgotra, Shivcharan Singh, Arun Khajuria, Rajeshwar Singh, Sunny Singh and Tony Kumar and others.
