UDHAMPUR, Mar 16: The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party chief patron Prof Bhim Singh has claimed that  the mission, reorganization of J&K is spreading fast in Jammu Pradesh from Kishtwar to Poonch and Banihal to Kathua and the people are eagerly waiting for some surprise in future.
Addressing public meetings at Kud and Chenani today, NPP leader said that party has taken this mission to reorganize Jammu and Kashmir by establishing a Kashmir Valley State and Jammu Pradesh by the ‘next year’.
Prof Singh cautioned the Central Government to treat the people of Jammu Pradesh as human beings and ensure social, political and economic justice to the helpless people of Jammu Pradesh. He said many schools have no teachers, the Government has not supplied ration to the people in Jammu region for the past few months. It has failed to pay the wages to the daily wagers/casual  labours for the past four months in the entire Jammu region.
He urged the Governor, NN Vohra to depute his team to verify and investigate the reason as why the villagers have been denied ration.  He said that nearly 500 primary and middle schools in Jammu rural areas have been closed and thousands of students have been deprived of schooling. He said the schools were established by  Harshdev Singh, when he was Education Minister from 2003 to 2006. He alleged that  there is rule of anarchy and the people are getting restless whereas there is no governance in J&K.
Balwant Singh Mankotia, president NPP and Ex-MLA from Udhampur in his address asked  the Government to deliver justice to the poor villagers, employees, daily wagers and even patients (the local dispensaries and hospitals have almost collapsed under the prevailing situation). Mr Mankotia called on the NPP workers to participate in the Panthers Party rally being organized in Jammu Parade Ground on his 34th Foundation Day. Anita Thakur, general secretary also spoke on the occasion.
