JAMMU, Sept 27: Raising the problems being faced by the people of Jammu region, former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated that party was committed to provide status of separate State to Jammu region and has launched awareness campaign for full fledge movement.
Mankotia said discrimination in employment sector has crossed all limits and now time has come to achieve the status of separate State for Jammu region for the holistic development on this part of the State.
Addressing different street rallies at Krishna Nagar, Roop Nagar, Paloura and other areas of Jammu West Constituency, NPP leader blamed that in a well planned conspiracy employment is not given to educated youth of Jammu region so that they can leave the State in search of employment or settle themselves abroad. He said there are very thin chances that educated youth will return to State after searching the respectable job outside the state and government is well aware about of this.
Mankotia said 25 yrs back in a very well-knit plan, nationalist people who holds tri-colour were forced to leave Kashmir, then patriotic people of hilly areas were ousted and now in a bigger conspiracy, by providing 10 percent Government jobs, youth are forced to leave the Jammu region which will further reduce the population of nationalist people.
NPP president reiterated that educated youth of Jammu region only get their due share in employment after creation of separate Jammu state and party is committed to get status of separate State for Jammu region. Party leader Shanker Chib, Satbir Singh and Anil Rakwal also addressed the gatherings.
