Notorious thief arrested, 4 stolen vehicles recovered

JAMMU, Mar 18: Government Medical College (GMC) police under ‘Operation Chetak’ arrested a notorious thief and recovered four stolen vehicles from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from GMC police post conducted raid and arrested a notorious thief.
The accused has been identified as Manthan Sethi, son of Rah Pal Sethi, a resident of Gandhi Nagar.
On his disclosure, police recovered four stolen vehicles including 2 cars and 2 motorcycles.
During questioning, the accused revealed that he had committed theft in different areas including city area.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by Incharge GMC police post SI Deepak Thakur made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Ashwani Sharma, SDPO West Nikhil Rasgotra and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
