KATHUA, Oct 21: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kathua Police Station laid a naka near Dream Land Park and apprehended a notorious drug peddler along with 2.60 grams heroin.
The arrested person has been identified as Kapil Kumar, son of Subash Chander, a resident Badala, District Kathua. He was a notorious drug peddler and was arrested earlier with 6.3 grams heroin by a team from Kathua Police Station.
A fresh FIR Number 315/17 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against him at Kathua Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by DySP Headquarters Kathua Shamsher Singh and assisted by SHO Kathua Inspector Anil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Kathua.
