Notorious bovine smuggler booked under PSA

JAMMU, Apr 19: A notorious bovine smuggler has been booked under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and has been lodged in Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal.
As per police sources, a notorious bovine smuggler namely Mohammad Rafiq alias Rafi, son of Karim Bakash, a resident of Rajpora Mandi, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu has been booked under PSA.
Mohammad Rafiq was involved in bovine smuggling cases registered with Akhnoor, Khour and various other police stations.
The dossier for detention of Mohammad Rafiq was submitted in the office of District Magistrate Jammu Anuradha Gupta.
District Magistrate Jammu Anuradha Gupta issued the PSA warrant for detention of Mohammad Rafiq, which was executed by the Kanachack police and the accused was lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
The PSA warrant was executed by SHO Kanachak Inspector Rajesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
