KATHUA, Feb 6: Two days North India Open Karate/Kick Boxing Championship 2016 organized by Amateur Sports Kick Boxing Federation of India affiliated by Nehru Yuva Kendra Department of Govt. of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs of sports was inaugurated today at Jammu Sanskriti School, here today.
Rahul Yadav was the chief guest on the occasion, while Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua and Shuchita Gupta, Principal were the guests of honour.
The teams from Haryana, Delhi, J&K, Punjab and Himachal participated in which more than 300 students showcased their talent.
Rohini Aima Principal cum vice chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu was also present as special guest.
In his address, Mr Yadav encouraged the children with his motivating speech to adopt the right path towards their success. He said, games play a vital role in everybody’s life as it enhances their health, increases their stamina and help them to stay away from indulging in malpractices like drug addiction.
