JAMMU, Dec 3:  The newly appointed Non-Gazetted employees of  all the Government departments today held protest against the new recruitment policy of State Government at Press Club here today.
A large number of newly appointed employees assembled outside the Press Club, near Exhibition Ground here during the day and started protest demonstration. They were strongly opposing the new recruitment policy enacted by the Mehbooba Mufti Government  and alleged that it was sheer exploitation of highly educated youth of the State.
Carrying banners and placards depicting their demands, the newly appointed Non-Gazetted employees were shouting slogans against the present PDP-BJP Govt and demanding withdrawal of  new recruitment policy.  They pointed out that in purview of  the recruitment policy SRO-202 was implemented in June 2015 but this new policy seemed to be unfair for the educated youth of the State.

They said as per the new recruitment rules enacted by this Government, every new appointee shall be entitled to the minimum of pay scale along with grade pay (Rs 7000 to 8000) applicable to the post against which he or she is appointed. The person appointed under this rule shall be entitled to annual  increment, all allowances (HRA, DA,CCA) only after successful completion of five years of service on consolidated salary, but considering  the rising prices of essential commodities it is appaling that  Government has framed  such a policy which is sheer injustice to the qualified youth of the State. The educated youth of the State have made many appeals to this Government but it has not bothered to listen.  It is again urged upon the Govt to revoke this policy.
